City School South Curriculum

City School South’s Vision

City School South’s vision is to provide our young people with the skills, experiences and qualifications to secure a positive and prosperous future enabling them to be confident learners and have a sense of belonging to the wider community.

We deliver an alternative provision which recognises that all students are individuals and come to us with a variety of strengths and areas for further development.

Identifying the strengths of our individual students enables City School to provide a structured and bespoke curriculum that helps build confidence, which in turn gives us the opportunity to build on the student’s areas of development.

Learning Outside The Classroom

One afternoon per week is dedicated to a whole group activity taking in the historical, cultural and environmental aspect of the City and its
surroundings.

This will aid advancement in students their personal experiences and development
