Engage Curriculum

Engage’s Vision

Engage aims to safeguard, inspire, encourage and support growth and confidence in all our young people, in all aspects of their life.

We seek to work closely with families and professionals to get the best possible outcomes for our students. We aim to enable young people to address and improve their behaviour to a high standard. We also prepare them for responsibilities, opportunities and lifelong experiences through respect, care, equity and a partnership for their own journey

What drives our Curriculum?

We have developed the use of curriculum drivers and these underpin our teaching. These make a direct difference to students taking up
their place in the world making a successful contribution to the communities in which they live.

  • Empower – having energy, enthusiasm and confidence
  • Opportunity – aspire to new encounters
  • Creativity – broaden horizons by ignoring doubt, facing fears and taking risk

Our School

Our site is situated in the central area of Easton in Bristol.

The Engage provision is an early intervention educational engagement project, which serves CLF Secondary schools. The school is based on site at Evergreen Primary School, Bristol.

Engage offers short and medium-term placements to students who are struggling to thrive in mainstream settings and who need the opportunity to re-set and re-engage. The majority of our placements are 12-week placements, but we can also offer more bespoke packages depending on the need of the child.

We currently offer a part time placement for Year 11 students, working alongside schools, colleges and businesses for work experience to form a tailored package for individual students which supports them in reaching their full potential.
