The Nest start recycling initiative

COP26 and climate change is high on the news agenda at internationally at present, with this in mind all pupils at the Nest  attended an assembly about recycling and the importance and impact recycling can have on our environment.

Pupils had a group discussion about ways they can recycle at the Nest. The children then sorted the rubbish ready to go in the correct bins. 

Students said

 “If we recycle it will help our environment”

 “Metal can be recycled and then made into something else”

 “We could scrape of food in a big to go into a compost bin”
