Alex Davies Principal said: “I really enjoy this day and taking time to celebrate the achievements of our children and staff. Today is all about reflecting on the progress the children have made since joining Snowdon Village and taking time to pause and look forward to their future. I’m thrilled that 98% of our Year 11 cohort have secured a positive destination, despite – in many cases – personal challenges they have faced in their lives. I’m also pleased with the academic outcomes and the number of children who have achieved so many qualifications. The grades the children go home with today is of course extremely important but – for me – it’s about making sure the children are happy when they are in school, and they feel like they belong and have the agency to dictate their future – whatever they choose to do with their lives. We are all extremely proud of every single one of our children and look forward to hearing how they get on in the Autumn Term. Congratulations Year 11!”

Steve Taylor CEO of the Cabot Learning Federation said: “Across the Cabot Learning Federation, we have almost 1,800 students collecting their results today after 12 years of education, and the day is all about them as individuals. There are some extraordinary stories of young people achieving well against the odds, showing the tenacity and commitment to invest in themselves and their futures. We know that they are making their parents and carers and our colleagues proud, and we’re just as excited to see where they go next as what they find when they open their envelopes today. Well done to them and thank you to the many colleagues who have nurtured their potential and helped them to grow from the first day they were dropped off at school!”
