Snowdon Village pupils enjoy healthy fun with Aspens Catering smoothie bike

Pupils at Snowdon Village School were treated to an exciting and healthy experience recently, thanks to a special visit from Aspens Catering Company.

The team from Aspens brought along their innovative smoothie bike, which provided a hands-on way for pupils to learn about nutrition and have fun at the same time.

The smoothie bike, a stationary bicycle fitted with a blender, allows pupils to create their own custom smoothies by choosing their favorite fruits and peddling to power the blender.

This interactive activity not only promotes healthy eating but also encourages physical activity in a fun and engaging way.

A school spokesperson said: “Pupils were thrilled to be part of the experience, combining their energy and creativity to make delicious and nutritious smoothies.

“The event also served as a fun educational opportunity, where pupils learned about the importance of a balanced diet and how simple, healthy choices can be incorporated into their everyday lives.”
