Curriculum Intent
We aim to provide an innovative and creative curriculum which will engage and empower young people to be confident learners who have a strong sense of belonging
Our curriculum will challenge self doubt and negative preconceptions by carefully scaffolding the learning to meet all individual needs; enabling our students to have a positive and sustainable future.
Our curriculum intent, as set out above aims to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners, for whom, for a variety of reasons, mainstream school hasn’t been successful. We are passionate about giving our learners as many experiences, whilst also enabling them to have the same academic chances as their mainstream peers. We achieve this by offering both core and foundation subject qualifications, alongside a bespoke PSHE/safeguarding curriculum, vocational options, enrichment opportunities, therapeutic and pastoral care, distance learning and outreach.
